Homeschool Interscholastic Sports (HIS) is a Texas nonprofit corporation. HIS is a homeschool support organization with the specific objective of providing athletic and educational services to the homeschooling community. HIS, as an organization, and in all of its activities and publications, has the purpose of being consistently and forthrightly Christian to the honor and glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. HIS admits homeschool students of any race, color, nation, and ethnic origin to its programs. It does not discriminate on the basis of any of these in the administration of its educational, admissions, or scholarship programs. HIS desires to provide homeschooled students with excellent instruction in the skills required for the sports in which they participate, and to provide them with opportunities to use those skills at appropriate competitive levels, including the highest level of secondary school competition. HIS is a Christian discipleship ministry committed to using sports as a tool to develop Christ-like character in young men and women. Specific evidence of success in our mission is the demonstration of the scriptures as in Galations 5:22-23; love, joy, peace, patience ,kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control in the lives of our athletes, parents, coaches, and leadership.
